The Most Clever Cutting Board by Chef'n
You might be wondering what's the best cutting board for your kitchen. If you've been shopping, you know that cutting boards are a dime a dozen, but if you want one that stands out among the rest, the Chef'n Prep Station Cutting Board has some pretty unique features. Not only do we love using the Chef'n Prep Station as our main cutting board, but we also get a lot of use out of its clever built in collapsible colander and food transfer tray.
What most impresses us is the bamboo cutting board which is a solid surface to chop on, yet it's kind to our knives. Bamboo is also naturally anti-microbial which is a plus. The size of the cutting board is just right for normal, everyday meal prep work and comes in at 11" x 15".
We love to use the collapsible colander to rinse off veggies and fruit, and while that's draining over the sink edge, we can be working on the surface of the cutting board. The food tray is also a major bonus. Who isn't looking for an easy way to transfer your 'choppings' without making lots of 'droppings'? It's so awesome to be able to push your cuttings right into the food tray and the easily transfer to your pan or bowl, without losing a single dice!
Everything just slides back together for convenient storage. When space is at a premium, it's pretty handy to have three tools packed tidily away until the next food preparation time rolls around. We just slide ours next to the coffee maker until we're ready to use it again.

The world's greatest cap-catcher bottle opener is the Clink-N-Drink. And when the world's greatest teams are represented on it, you have a winning gift idea!
The Clink-N-Drink's design and strong magnets allow you to mount it on the side of a car (for tailgating) or on your fridge. The magnets are rubber coated to protect any surface it's mounted to. And if you're out on the boat or on the beach, it's also designed to be screwed into a non-magnetic surface, like a cooler!

S'more or Less, It's the Best!

Just in time for summer fun, cookouts, and camping is the Original Campfire S'More Maker. We are eagerly awaiting our first S'mores of the summer season now that we have this great new tool. It has 3 cavities, so if you have 3 kids there won't be any fighting over who gets the first s'more! Just place a graham cracker in each cavity, top with chocolate and a marshmallow, and then one more cracker. Close and latch the S'More Maker and watch the magic as the most rustically delicious summertime treat forms right before your eyes.
For a twist, try one of these great S'More ideas:
For a twist, try one of these great S'More ideas:
- Poke a hole in the marshmallow and fill with a strawberry or your favorite jam
- Use a peanut butter cup instead of plain chocolate
- Use chocolate chip cookies instead of graham crackers
- Add a slice of banana
Sounds like s'more heaven to me!

Onion Goggles on ABC's "Castle"

Hey, did you see the Onion Goggles on the March 30th epiode of "Castle" on ABC? I nearly fell off the couch when the kitchen scene panned from the onions being chopped on a cutting board up to Castle sporting his very own pair of Onion Goggles! Then the shot panned to his daughter wearing her own pair of Pink Onion Goggles! Too funny!

The World's Best Popcorn Popper

Just in! We are so excited to have the Whirley Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper in our store! This popcorn popper has revolutionized homemade popcorn. After receiving this as a Christmas present and using it at least once a week since, we decided it was a must for our own customers! There is so much to say about it, I hardly know where to start. First of all, it makes healthy all-natural popcorn that tastes as great as the movie theatre...well our movie theatre tastes old and stale, so that really isn't a good example. All it takes is 1 teaspoon of oil for a full 6 quart batch. And every single kernal pops thanks to its hand crank stirring system. And don't get worried about getting tired, even if Ed Begley isn't your neighbor, I think you have enough stamina to turn the crank for 2 minutes! Each kernal pops up big and fluffy because it has steam vents which allow moisture to escape. It is so easy to clean, just open and wipe and your done!

3-D Easter Bunny Cake = Cute + Yummy

I just got some great advice on how to bake the 3-D Bunny Cake with NordicWare's terrific Bunny Cake Mold from my friend Janice.
- Start with a box of Betty Crocker's Pound Cake Mix. Make sure to butter and flour pan well.
- Fill bottom half of bunny form to the ledge, but do not go over the rim!
- Place this half on a cookie sheet to catch any spills in the oven as well as to keep it level.
- Put top half of bunny on top of filled pan. You can tell which is the top pan because it is the one with the little hole in it. That hole is used for steam to escape, but it is also a great way to test the cake without removing the lid.
- If you have any extra cake mix, fill a mini loaf pan.
- When the bunny cake is done, take the cover off and let it cool completely. It will stand up perfectly when finished.
