We've all got 'em, smelly places and spaces.  Some of them more odoriferous than others.  One of the fun parts of being the best gift shop on Cape Cod is sharing great new items with our customers.  Greenleaf has just come out with some new fragrances and LaBelle's General Store has decided to share them with one lucky winner...

It all started when we were cooking up our traditional Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner for our American-Irish St. Patrick's Day Celebration

It’s the day after St. Patrick’s Day and I don’t know about you, but I’ve pretty much had it with the smell of cabbage.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the American-Irish traditional Corned Beef & Cabbage dinner, and I adore the leftovers, especially when Joe grills up his famous Corned Beef Hash.

But I’ve been over the smell since about 4 hours into the crock pot’s cooking time.  That’s when the cabbage’s odoriferous emanations began taking over the house.  Slightly before that time, Joe called to see how it was cooking and asked if the house smelled yet, to which I giddily responded, “No, not yet.”  In fact, I was a little concerned that mayhap the crock pot wasn’t working, until just a short while later when my daughter voiced her objections.  And then I was overcome.  Man that stuff stinks.

I spent the rest of the day trying to plan how to remove the offensive cabbage perfume from my home and then I spied our new Greenleaf Scented Sachets.  It got me thinking that others were probably suffering in much the same way I was, and wouldn’t it be nice to share.  And that’s how the Scented Sachet G I V E A W A Y was born.
